“You can’t control what other people will do or want or say or feel or need. You can’t control what life puts in your path. But you can work on the way you respond to what you’re given. And you can do the work to heal those places within you that are raw and in need of your kind attention.”- Ally Hamilton I think the key points in most of these wonderful writings involve our responses to the external world which are usually based on how we feel about ourselves. Sometimes we give our power away, sometimes we get lost, sometimes we have to really work to get back to center. I like how Ally Hamilton ends on a high with hope. I liked: ...youre as precious and unique as any snowflake, any fingerprint, any other person made up of thirty-seven trillion or so cells. And you rock the life youve been given. Thank you for sharing, James Vincent Knowles!
