You could have been one of the 700,000 people Facebook experimented on in this ONE study, creepy. So the study in this article is not surprising but still scary! It finds we can have our moods altered by changing the emotional content of feeds we are shown. One implication of this is Facebook can make a person feel like shit and target adds at someone who has a shop therapy problem. Thats a lot of people. What else can Facebook make us feel and then suggest for us to do by controlling what we see? The power of psychology my friends. The power of data. Creepy. Just like the major media, Facebook is learning how to better market and manipulate us. Not surprising but something to keep in mind.
