You dont see me rant on my Facebook page about my beloved Kangaroos. I dont hang negatives on my friends if we are lucky enough to beat their team and I have been a supporter since 1977 when I was just 9. It was the 24th September 1977 and I made a declaration to my beautiful gramps to go for the blue & white team the following week as the game was a draw against the black & white team. With eyes glued to the tele the next Saturday my new team won beating Collingwood by 27 points and I was hooked. I have been a captains club member, I personally got to sing for Wayne Carey & Corey McKernan and my boys have sat on the shoulders if legends such as Glenn Archer, Mickey Martin, Denis Pagan, received personally signed birthday cards from Duck himself and our love affair for my son Jakeb and I with the North Melbourne football club has continued for me 34 years, for Jakeb 19 years. (He had a junior roo membership presented to him by his mamma 1 month after he was born). Tonight I am proud to shout out I LOVE my Kangaroos and the North Melbourne Football Club and common sense has prevailed tonight with Boomer Harveys 1 match ban being overturned. For a hit that yes may have been a little late to a player that bleeds easily and has his head bandaged nearly every game, no free kick, no number taken until Selwood whinged to 2 umpires including the emergency umpire - then Harvey is in the spotlight. Selwood didnt even fall to the ground - this kind of BULLSHIT is making AFL a bloody joke. Let the game be played, tell the sooky Lalas to harden up or go and do ballet and umpires STOP letting players sway your judgement. I hope tonights decisions spurs the mongrel in the belly of my beloved Roos and they see their first Grand Final appearance since 1999. Go Shinboners You CAN do this!! Get the Swans this week - get a grand final spot next week. OMG Im soooo excited!!
