You ever had a day that was so strange you can only laugh? Well today was this day. It started out normal, I did a call, helped a client, had a cup of tea. The dogs were just staring at me, (please walk me!). I thought right!! I will show you walk. I got out the bike, grabbed dogs and leads and headed down the road. I walked carefully past some men doing roadworks and when I cleared them, I hopped on the bike, and I did a Dog Whisperer . You know...the episode where he has the dog pull him on a bike? Two dogs, leads on my wrist, mtn bike and down the path. We came to a lamp post. On my right was a big digger or something parked by the guys doing the roadworks. Louie thought, ok Im going to go left. Ruby stayed beside me. The lampost got in the middle. The leads on my wrist pulled me off the bike and I went sailing across the footpath, slamming my head on the digger thingy. I got up and my left hand (the one with the manky finger from my last fall) was about 5 times its normal size. Think Elephant man. I got up once I got my breath. Neighbors came running. Ambulance, laughing gas and hospital. One neighbor came running out in her jammys and we ended up klling ourselves laughing cos the workmen came and put barriers round their vehicle. Like I didnt see it or something!! Just got home an hour ago thanks to my sister. Nothing is broken and I can type again cos Im strapped up tightly. How was today? Excellent. Today I DIDNT break my hand Best day ever! How was your day?
