You guys should be super proud of the youth of New Beginnings! We were discussing some of the changes weve undergone (not holding to the former but looking towards the new thing the Father wants to accomplish!) at our church and I asked the kids to cast their vision for their youth group. This is the response I got from one particular youth and others spoke in agreement; I want to do something to go out and show people and tell people how awesome my God is. I want to get out and serve others. Theyre wanting to fulfill the great commission. All theyre asking for is opportunities to serve!! With that being said, weve adopted a cause close to our hearts. A neighbor of a youth has cancer and is undergoing treatment. He cant afford food due to health costs. Sunday, were having a bake sale-they agreed that every dime donated towards the purchase of baked goods will go to buy this gentleman groceries. Wed love to be able to buy enough for one month. Please, pray for our youth and pray about coming prepared Sunday morning to support them as they desire to serve others. Thanks!!
