You have a responsibility to the people you come in contact with, to live your lives in such a fashion that they can see Christ working in and through you. Some people associate Christianity with a church, or Bible study or prayer, or a youth group or men or womens prayer group and a certain time like Sunday. However, Christianity is more than a place or a series of activities. True Christianity should be a lifestyle. Your life and mine has not always reflected this truth. The early part of my life I was not in the least, interested in spiritual things as I should have been. As a result my life was not one that an impartial observer would have been deeply impressed with. My life style was one that reflected a lot of the worldly ideas and manners and I was not deeply or partially or at all interested in spiritual matters which would have been beneficial to myself and my friends. In summary I blew my younger life. As Christians we must take every opportunity that arises to share our faith or influence our friends for Jesus. We all lost many opportunities in our youth to influence someone and a lot of those people have died and there is no way to ever be able to share with them about Jesus. I implore you today to make a commitment to go out and make an effort to allow Christ to work in your life in such a way that you will be able to make a difference in the lives of the people you are among. Help someone come to know Jesus today.
