You have the chance to decide and vote for which community - TopicsExpress

You have the chance to decide and vote for which community projects are to go ahead in your area. Its your money and its your choice so why not get involved? Anyone over the age of 11 who lives, works, volunteers or is educated in the Great Aycliffe and Middridge Area Action Partnership (AAP) area can attend and cast their votes for their favourite local project. The event is being held at Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre on Saturday 23rd November 2013 between 11am and 3pm - you can pop in any time between these hours to vote. For a full list of the local projects, please visit the website: durham.gov.uk/gampaap. On the day you will also be able to vote on the AAP priorities for 2014-15 and also take part in the council budget consultation. It would be really helpful to the organisers and will save you time on the day if you could register to attend the voting event in advance. Please contact the AAP on 01325 327441 if you plan on going along.
