You have to continue believing. However long the night might be. However dark the sky can be. However dreary your life could be. It does not matter how long you have been on your knees. Infact, it is not about how long of before now you have held onto. It is more about how far more you can still hold on . That is the measure of true faith. True faith does not seek justification from the distance already covered. Instead it continues to hold onto a future that is only promised by God. A future that is owned by God. That is true faith dear friends. This is the faith that Paul urges Timothy to stoke. And this is the faith that God requires of the israelites in the first reading. A faith taught to his disciples by Jesus in the Gospel of st. Luke. Undying hold on a future owned by Almighty God. Like the faith lived by Abraham, and blessed Virgin Mary...Happy ,blessed sunday.
