The thing that we had has been taken Like the mindfulness of what would be best And the willpower to stand up to temptation The things that we seek will never help us But well never admit it because convenient little pleasure is all that surrounds us What about the things that matter? All is well Ef it well be partyin it up in hell Lifes good Forget about it Im telling you you might as well Just because a man dont give a ef it dont mean hes gon to hell What we think of our lives is so far from reality its scary Partying it up and throwing it down we forget to look past the faeries Laying with him and sleeping with her were not worried about getting married Weve forgotten to care and weve forgotten whats there, in the world for us to experience Well fine than enjoy dieing without accomplishing anything for anyone but your self. go ahead and leave the changing of the world to the people who are motivated enough to let the hurt of another change something about themselves Its time to Author the truth inside of you Its time to truly look for what you believe is true Or we could let this generation just slip right through our fingers And wait for the punchline which is only getting thinner...
