You help a friend believe in herself, give her the opportunity to explore, dream, trust, work and live her dreams…. Sometimes when you play a really important role in her life and new found success, you just have to be OK that you may not get a thank you, acknowledgment or accolades for the role youve played in helping her to live her dreams. You look up and she doesnt look back, she seems to bless her new found happenings, without acknowledging or appreciating what youve done to support her or the history you share. I guess thats when you focus on appreciating the times you did share, on the times of support you gave, on the vision you helped her create and you tell yourself, JOB WELL DONE, GIRL You helped her believe in herself and maybe she will pay it forward and help someone else in the absence of not paying you the compliment. Thats when you decide, Im a giver, Im a believer, Im a dream weaver, Im an optimist and it doesnt really matter that you dont get the Thanks, because you really didnt DO IT for that anyway.
