You improve and succeed by consistently taking high level action. If you inconsistently take care of your health, work hard, self-develop, or appreciate your partner or kids, you have no right to be frustrated when its not working out in your favor. Consistency doesnt mean 2 or 3 weeks. Consistency is a lifetime commitment. Consistency doesnt require sacrifice. Sacrificing temporary pleasures for longterm peace and happiness is hardly sacrifice. The greatness gained from consistent high level action over time, I am sure you would agree, far outweighs the small things that need to be postponed or eliminated. With high level consistent action over time you can create any physical body you wish. You can learn real estate, investing, or any business your heart desires. You can master piano, guitar, or the tuba, if thats your thing. You can build a wonderful relationship. You can learn, explore, move up, and enjoy a life worthy of living. And, the best part? Youll enjoy the moment far more as a high level human being. Your social time will be more valuable and more rewarding, because youll have earned it. How do you start? Define whats most important to you. Where you want to go, who you want to be, and how you want your life to look. Second, define what actions need to be taken to create success in those areas. If you dont know, find someone who has success in those areas and ask them. Third, buy a planner, and decide habits to consistently perform that will guarantee growth. Use the planner religiously. I know youre busy. Everyone is busy. Thats not an excuse. The key to unlocking your great potential lies in your day to day activity. How you spend your limited downtime will dictate where you go. Do you play Candy Crush? Do you read useless Tweets for 20 minutes? Or do you READ? Or call your family? Or RUN? Those small decisions, compounded over time, will dictate where youll go. Stop thinking about it and get started.
