You know I always have a short story. Well heres one for you. Those with a problem pass me by. Love you all for your continued support inspirational and encouraging words. You saved my life ! This was and is the worst time of my life. But you keep me going. Its my BORN DAY ! Tomorrow 12/30/1957 is my born day and 12/30/2014 I will be 57 years young. Wow ! Amazing talking to my big brother who I adore today as he called me to tease me calling me grandma Steve Anderson youre my idol. I told him 3 years to 60 amazing but doggone it I look pretty good. What a journey 57 years ago only 10 months after my oldest sister Candis M. Arnold was born in the same year my parents that God placed in charge of my nurturing and made me the woman I am today William and Hattie Thomas Lowery. I guess I will never know the real story behind my name Valveta Benita yes thats my name youll never see or hear it again. Theres my siblings with nice names Suzette Denise Lowery-Johnson Deborah Ann William James I dont get it. Oh well its a fun name. On this journey Ive experienced a lot. Worked 32 years at Michigan Bell/SBC/Ameritech/ATT yes there for all the name changes. Retired May 2008. Now a part if the River Rouge School Board trying to make a difference in the lives of our children. My journey married my buddy Paris Mooch Reese Sr. Over 30 years ago. Three beautiful children PJ and DeAndre Reese and Carmen. 6 grandchildren 3 here and 3 in Nashville. My journey many trials tribulations and losses including My dad my mom and my oldest my only daughter my Carmen Marie I miss them so much My journey many illnesses but Im a survivor 21 year cancer survivor developed major kidney problem from the radiation still dealing with today, but I dont let it slow me down. Brain Tumor and Brain surgery loss partial vision but it doesnt stop me either Grateful for all the wonderful and special people God has placed in my life. I am so blessed. The devil tries to bring me down, but he doesnt seem to understand my name is VICTORY ! I am a SURVIVOR yes I struggle and fall down but I always get back up again. What I say my name is VICTORY ! I will make it through. My journey so much more to tell. Thank you Lord for blessing me continuously ! So glad I made it ! I made it through yes Im making it through Happy Born Day To Me 57 years and still going strong !
