You know, I listened to our President speak tonight after meeting with TX Governor Rick Perry. I tried to make sense of what he said, but I just cant. He is asking Congress for $3.7 billion to hire more attorneys and judges so that all of these people coming across our border can have hearings? WHAT? And HOW LONG will that take? Part of the supplement from Congress will be used to fix up facilities for these people to stay, receive health care and innoculations, be fed and clothed, etc. etc. etc. And this will happen for not only the 50,000 plus who are already here but the thousands more who are on their way because not one word was said about securing the border (only 44% of our southern border is secure). The President played on the heartstrings of wonderful people in our country who are truly compassionate. I am one of those people. But, what is happening right now in our country is a crime. Please, someone explain to me what is going on in the United States of America. Just try to visit Canada without a passport!
