You know, Ive been kinda wondering why it was that Hibiya was stuck in the time loop. But then this occurred to me. In order to escape the Haze, one must die and the other will return to life- basically one must sacrifice himself. Now imagine if in this case, because both wanted to save one another, the rules were reversed and the one that died was the one that got out- but because Hibiya wanted Hiyori to survive so badly, the timeloop occurs and they both continue to attempt saving each other, finally ending with Hibiyas death and escape from the Haze whilst Hiyori remained behind. Wouldnt that explain things? ~Maskchan~
