You know... Many people have told me how brave I am for planning to shave my head in a few weeks. I dont think of myself as brave for doing this. Its only hair. It will grow back. Those kids who are battling childhood cancer are the brave ones. Many of them have no choice whether or not they will lose their hair. Their treatments make that choice for them. If I can get your attention, though, by the fact that I am shaving my head... and in turn raise some money for more research on how to better treat and eventually cure childhood cancer, then its all worth it. There is nothing brave about my going bald for a brief period in my life. Its all about supporting these kids and trying to help future children who are or will have to battle cancer.
