You know how I feel about Congress. The absurdity in shutting down businesses who receive nothing from the government is beyond decency. I am referring to places like the Pisgah Inn, the Peaks of Otter Lodge, the walk up monuments of the people, the national Parks, and even the beach driving at Cape Hatteras. With the parkway open for driving lodging food and restrooms are a necessity. And since no federal employees are there to sell passes to drive on the beach at the height of the season, the beaches should be open as they should have been all along. Folks it is time to re-elect NO ONE! And insist that if a shutdown occurs, concessionaires are allowed to remain open.
