You know, it really bugs me when business use texting as a feature for their clients. People start to expect that they can treat companies and commerce like they treat their drinking buddies and gal pals. Then I get pissed off clients yelling at me because I havent returned their texts in 2 days. NEWS FLASH!!! My business has an old fashion land line. You CANNOT schedule your appointment via text!!! Call me crazy or old or whatever, but I believe in making a genuine contact with a client BEFORE theyre naked on my table. Plus talking to someone, hearing their voice and listening to the way they reply to certain things can reveal potential red flags and gives one a chance to back out of an appointment or transaction. But the bottom line, texting for a service gets rid of basic human contact... And thats the saddest thing of all. This concludes my random rant.
