You know that moment when you see someone pop up on your Facebook - TopicsExpress

You know that moment when you see someone pop up on your Facebook feed and think to yourself....I wonder how theyve been? I havent seen them pop up in my Facebook feed in a LONG time... Then you click on their profile and they have unfriended you... Ill tell you what...church women are the worst....I have been unfriended by more church friends than anyone else. Saw someone sing in the choir today at church that unfriended me a long time ago...I even asked her about it....I basically got the excuse that she was unfriending lots of people because they had hurt her by things they were posting...disagreements on mainly politics. But not me, of course, I just got lumped in with the masses...Jen Hatmaker related, I feel certain... Geesh..... If I unfriended everyone that I did not agree with 100% then I would have no friends. Even my BEST friends, I disagree with from time to time. If you post something and I dont agree, then I just keep scrolling... If you post that you are trying to sell something and I am not interested, then I just keep scrolling... If you use your Facebook page as a platform to slam essential oil users or direct sales people, then I just keep scrolling... If you use your Facebook page to whine about your life, then I say a prayer for you and I just keep scrolling.... I dont hate you.... I dont unfriend you... All of the people that put on their fancy dresses, makeup and head to church on Sunday mornings to get in your weekly I hope everyone sees me at church time....Jesus knows your heart. And you know what, the other people in your life see you as well...those lost people that you work with...talk to at ball practice...your neighbors.... I pray that when people see me IN church and OUTSIDE of church that they see the same person. I pray that I NEVER do something at church just for others to take notice.... I pray that I am ALWAYS able to be a friend to EVERYONE...even if we disagree...even if we voted for a different president...even if we disagree on theology...even if you dont support adoption....even if you are not kind to people with special needs... And I will be...you know why? Because I am a nice person...because I want to love likes Jesus loves... And we wonder why people avoid the church...we wonder why people come and visit and never come back.... Stepping off my soapbox and thanking God for those people He has placed in my life that I consider friends.
