You know the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office has shot and killed - TopicsExpress

You know the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office has shot and killed several unarmed persons in the last couple of years here. (in fact I have not heard of any police agency shooting and killing so many unarmed suspects in such a short span or any span of time for that matter, in my law enforcement career). We know of at least 3 of those shootings which should not have been ruled justifiable, starting with the Seth Adams shooting out in Loxahatchee. But, what you dont know yet is just this past week the FBI finally had their eyes opened and took over one of those shooting cases (one which happened in Lake Worth). I will not go into details since the media is not yet aware or chooses to report it. (We veterans of law enforcement here in Palm Beach County, know Sheriff Bradshaw has the media in his pocket by threatening not to give them information on cases if they dont play ball with him when he needs them too, its very important for news media competition to get the story first, thats just how it works) but the FBI has apparently taken this case over because the facts just arent adding up and the detectives have somehow lost a lot of Key evidence. (Lol, go figure). By the way the deputy in question in that case also has about 16 questionable incidents of which hes been involved in, including one other bad shoot (non fatal). Now I will say, of all the bad shoots involving this agency, this person Supposedly... had a gun? Unlike most of their deputy involved shootings. Now if this case unravels and the FBI does their job you will probably see the others unravel as well. However, Sheriff Bradshaw happens to have deputies working in the office of the West Palm Beach FBI, one of them for at least 16 years who it is rumored leaks and covers most of the issues that come into their office PBSO related (I hate like hell to say this because I know him personally and really respected him while working with him at times during my career, but this is serious business and if thats the case this type of corruption must be stopped), thus protecting sheriff Bradshaw when necessary, who btw is vehemently fighting this action. So unless FBI out of Washington comes here and starts pulling deputies in with threat of the arrest for falsifications and begins re-interviewing witnesses the right way, the outcome could be zilch? Now, Fortunately for PBSO, all these shootings involved white people and not one black person? Therefore, there has been no real public outcry except for the Seth Adams case and the fact that the sheriff is being sued over the three shootings in question now, which led to the FBI coming in to investigate the Lake Worth shooting. My point is as an experienced police officer in Riviera Beach, I have never seen any agency in my career with so many shootings in such a short span of time, involving persons who were unarmed as has been here involving PBSO. I can only tell you that in the last 30 years that I know of, the city of Riviera Beach and others like it, have run many more violent calls per police officer than the sheriffs office (including the city of West Palm Beach) and have had plenty of officer involved shootings. Yet, not one of those suspects was unarmed! Just something to think about PBC.....
