You know, they say man is truly defined by the legacy they leave after theyre gone. And in these past couple days Ive noticed the legacy of one man in particular who passed all too soon, Doug Peters. As Ive searched around Facebook, Ive come across his name soooooo many times by people both in and out of the church. And all came to the same consensus of what a kind and loving man he was. How he always made peoples days brighter and joyful. I dont think I ever saw him without a smile. As a fellow motorcyclist, we could spend so much time just talking about riding. And my heart truly broke when I heard he passed, I didnt want to believe it. But now I see the lives and hearts he touched while he lived here on earth. And I know that because of that, he will continue to touch the lives of so many others in years to come. Hes in heaven now partying it up with Jesus and probably riding the golden streets of heaven. Ill be sure to ride with him when I get there one day ;)
