You know, what? We often complain that so & so is so intolerant, extremist in their views, and condescending to anyone who disagrees. But being progressive folks as we like to call ourselves, or whatever other label seems satisfactory to you, there is a responsibility on us to NOT be what we dislike in others. This is a very important thing I want to bring your attention to. Ive seen some of the most hateful people who guise themselves as progressives or whatever. Critiquing others, they all know very well how to. But critiquing themselves is an idea theyve never thought of. So, please. I request you to take some time out, and reflect on your own shortcomings before judging others. Being progressives, this should come naturally to us, since weve left conservative paradigms just to escape that mentality. But somehow, we conveniently forget that. Somehow, we never really escape that mentality, do we?
