You know what it feels like to be a Syrian in solidarity with #Gaza? Its hard. You watch all the suffering inflicted upon innocent civilians and all you can think of is... At least, at least, at least... #Israel has the mercy & technology to deploy smart bombs on them. At least Israel is a well-defined enemy thats so easy to hate... But you know what barrel bombs are? Literally iron containers loaded with TNT explosives & metal debris with the only purpose of maximizing human suffering and destruction. You know what guides them? Nothing. Theyre not smart or programmed, they dont have any specific target, theyre merely guided by chance and gravity. You know how many times our people die? Twice. The first death upon spotting the barrel bomb falling from the sky and wondering where it would land & the second death when the explosion actually happens. Its not the world thats unfair, its us human beings, we pick & choose our causes. #All_Eyes_on_Gaza #All_Eyes_on_Aleppo #freedom #dignity
