You know youre not going on just any ol trip when baby milk powder is taking up pretty much your entire baggage allowance lol As salaamu alaikum / Peace people, Today I will be travelling to Lebanon with Interpal insha Allah to visit Palestinians and Syrians displaced in refugee camps such as Shatila, Ain el Hilweh and El Buss to name a few. I will be personally meeting and helping to deliver aid directly to some of the most vulnerable people. With no central heating or gas, the cold winter months are always the hardest and families are at risk of serious illness and insecurity. As a Fundraiser, my day (and often night!) job revolves around serving these amazing people and I so cant wait to meet them! :D I welcome you all to join me on what I expect to be a very eye opening and humbling experience and hope to keep you updated with stories and pictures of how your donations are being used out in the field insha Allah.
