You may have seen some of my 3D Computer Graphic artwork. I entered two of the images into a contest that the manufacturer of the software I use was running (remember all those annoying like my artwork posts? Anyway I lost that contest by an embarrassing margin, see it was actually a popularity contest. The more people you could cajole into liking your images the higher score. By the way I would like to thank the 4 people who liked my images, you know who you are. The prize for the top three liked images was the latest version of the 3D software you your choice. As the version I use is 5 years old I figured I would enter. Anyway, I entered these two images below. They are concept art for a renovation to a EPA facility in San Francisco. This is one room of others in the 17 floor renovation. Well my images might have lost the Lightwave 3D contest, but they were instrumental for the company I work for winning the systems upgrades for the entire 17 floors or the renovation. This is a multi year, multi million dollar contract for us. We will be supplying and integrating Video Data Walls, Projection systems, Streaming Video systems, Digital signage, All of the building audio systems, Media production systems and facilities, Audio, Video and data routing, Video teleconferencing systems, Closed Captioning systems just to name a few. The renders below are the concept for their EOC (Emergency Operations Center) Just one of dozens of similar rooms. We were just notified this afternoon of the contract award.
