You may remember Belinda, who posted a few day ago from hospital with her second bout of PE - she has now had her baby (at 30 weeks) and would appreciate some support... Hi again! Just thought Id let you guys know that we had our little baby girl Chloe Elizabeth on Aus Day! She weighs 1150g. My PE started to get dangerous in the early hours of that morning and I was flown down to Hobart from Launceston in the RFDS plane. My platelet levels had decreased rapidly, along with a few more abnormalities. Bub is in NICU, scaring us a little already. They did a lumbar puncture on her tonight, as her skin is looking quite mottled and she drops her respiratory rate at times for no reason. Hence theyre ruling out any source of infection. Apart from that she seems quite strong, and has a very strong little cry, which reminds me of a lamb! Would love continued support, prayers and positive vibes from the LLT community! xxx
