Animal advocates/activists are risking their lives to save cows from these types of conditions that the VSPCA (Help Animals India main partner in India) has just rescued 29 of these souls from. They were kept without food/water for days on end during intolerably cruel transport.. To hide the cows, the perpetrators used a closed container with three layers and all of the 29 cows and calves were tied and pinned down. VSPCA discovered them nonetheless and rescued them even risking their own lives in the process, as its a dangerous business to interfere with these cow mafias. Half of them suffer from Foot and Mouth disease and some of them quite severe too and these will now be treated and taken to VSPCA special sanctuaries supported with donations only.
