You might be a patriot if... 1) how you vote is determined by more than just political party and your pocketbook. 2) your blood boils whenever you see a news report about someone burning the flag. 3) you understand that the Founding Fathers were not perfect, but God used these men to give us the greatest nation on earth. 4) you still put your hand over your heart and stand at attention for the Pledge of Allegiance. 5) you still remove your hat for the singing of the national anthem. 6) you know that the phrase "separation of church and state" is not in any founding document. 7) you know that freedom of religion does not mean freedom from religion. 8) you believe that the right to bear arms still applies to every American, not just criminals and the government. 9) you know that neither political party can fix this country, only God can through the people. 10) your heroes are not Michael Jordan, Derek Jeter, Peyton Manning, or Sidney Crosby, but your heroes are the men and women who fought and died for this country. 11) you believe that you get what you have because of hard work, not a government handout. 12) you know that a veteran deserves better treatment than an inmate. 13) You ARE a patriot if you are willing to accept the blame for how this country is and are also willing to sacrifice in order to do something about it.
