You might laugh at the cartoon but this is what happens to most spiritual seekers out there. They have a chance to be in Paradise, and they prefer a book about Paradise, or hang on to the keyhole which is a guru. Instead of using a guru to become liberated - they become fascinated with the guru and his personality. It is hard to dissolve yourself into a guru, to completely disappear in his energy. It is easier to cling on to the personality of the guru. And people who say "I have the best guru" - which usually happens to Osho disciples - they are morons feeding their egoes and missing the point: "dissolve into the guru, no matter who he may be".
