Friends and family. I know I have been AWOL for the past month. I have a reason and finally I can spill the beans. Rand and I were offered the gift of trust. Some family members stepped up and helped us get a loan for a home and property. We have a small vintage cottage on ten acres. Surrounded by meadow forest and wildlife. I am amazed that my family members would do such a trustworthy thing. We were looking at two years before we thought we would be doing anything of this nature. The cottage is very sound and was built in 1920. Cool door knobs and face plates all original. The crown molding is all original and has an Art Deco feel. It is funky. But the potential is beyond great. Good bones. I didnt say anything on FB (though I wanted to) for fear I would hex it. That happens to me a lot. So I waited till the ink was dry and we were moved in. I am so happy and still cannot believe the act of generosity. The sunset from our front deck.
