You see a grouchy old bastard whos so conservative he squeaks when he walks. I see a guy who got his feet frostbitten when he was 21 and has had trouble with them ever since. I see a guy who worked 30 and 40 hour days (thats right, days--not weeks) so that others had time to play. I see a guy who got up at 3:00 am so that others could party all night and sleep till noon. I see a guy that drove a 15 year old rag of a car so that someone else could buy a new one. I see a mother who wore rags so that her kids could keep up with the Joneses. I see a woman who worked all day and stayed up all night worrying about her teenager who thinks Moms only purpose to serve him/her. I see a man or a woman who stood on concrete for so many years that everything from tailbone to heelbone constantly aches. I see heartbreak, lost love, rejection, and betrayal. I see an education that only came from living on this Earth, an education that will never be taught out of a book. I see a mom, a dad, a grandma, a grandpa, who patiently deals with a smart-aleck juvenile ignorarmus who believes he deserves a handout. I see a person who has been taxed on his work, taxed on his food, taxed on his fuel, taxed on the inheritance his parents were taxed on. Taxed on his house, taxed on his car, taxed on his tires and taxed on his repairs. Grouchy old bastard? No, hes a saint for putting up with this crap and hasnt killed anyone.........yet.
