You should not only take this day, but every day of your life to remember the hundreds of firefighters, EMTs, and police officers, as well as the thousands of civilians that lost their lives on this day 13 years ago, who suffered severe fatigue and grief to fulfill their duties as Americans and dig through the charred, destroyed ruins of New York City to save those still lost inside the rubble for days on end. Also pay debt to those military service members who have both enlisted and deployed in retaliation the heinous crimes committed by those who hide in the shadows like cowards. We refused to fear, to falter, to stand idly by 13 years ago, and we still refuse to this day. I dont think Im alone in saying sending ISIS the message that we do not fear you. If you come to my homeland searching for more cowardice attempts at destroying our government, our spirit, and our lives, we will again refuse to fear or falter to send you a message coated in lead right through one ear and out the other. We will forever stand as one nation, one heart, and one people to defend what we have strived to build over 200 years. For fatigue, grief, and stress will never stop me from defending my beliefs and my fellow American citizens, just like those who instantaneously had their lives ripped from them in an instant as the towers fell. The towers have fallen, that much is for sure, but its up to you, the people of the United States of America, to rise out of the ashes and continue to retaliate. Semper Fi.
