You think because you brought some shoes & a few outfits or have made a few visits if that... That makes you a good parent? You have no idea what it is to be a parent. Try feeding, clothing & providing shelter for them morning, noon & night. Try paying the extra utility & electric bills that come with having them fulltime. Try waking up in the middle of the night when they are sick & or crying. Trying having to miss or leave work for emergencies. Try not having the freedom to go & come as you please because you love, value & place nothing above your responsibilities. Try going to all the doctors visits. Try fixing all their meals when they are hungry. Try giving baths & dressing them. Trying doing their homework with them every night & taking them to all their extra curricular activities. Try being the one who has to discipline them when they are misbehaving & or plucking your last nerve. Try answering all the why questions. Try answering the questions where is mommy or daddy. Try being there to teach them about life & making good decisions. Try taking them to school & going on field trips & to parent teacher conferences. Try just being there, because the list goes on & just making/reading this list makes a good parent tired©~ LeVar A. Bowers
