You think of the man as your father.. You know what and who he was - TopicsExpress

You think of the man as your father.. You know what and who he was in your life.. the gifts he gave you.. the ethics you were raised with.. the good, the bad, the ups, the downs. Then he dies and you are face to face with who he was to so many others. The side of him that you lost touch with..or never really thought about.. the impact he made on so many.. The lives he touched.. the careers he influenced..The appreciation for music and theater he brought out in so many.. and you can smile for a moment and think.. he did well. The out pouring of comments and memories is unbelievable. Parts of his history that got lost in the muddle of life, have all come flushing back into my mind. Days of St. Michaels Regional that started my own love for musical theater, days of St. Michaels Monastery Choir, and so many other points in my fathers life, have rushed from a time that got buried amid the passing days, right into the present. I am happy to read each and every post. These are the memories that I will hold onto dearly. I can not thank each of you enough for taking the time to share your memories with me.
