You want to know what pisses me off? Health insurance. Let me tell you why. Because Im not a single mom, and my husband and I make a decent living, its almost impossible to get reasonable insurance. Yes I said we make a decent living, Im far from well off, and Im far from poor. Yes there are some months when I look at our bank account and think what the hell happened. But it comes down to over spending, not following the budget. Im off topic, anyways, my husband and I both work full time. We have good jobs. We are trying to build a future for us and our children. Yes his job offers insurance, but its not great. I work for a small company, no insurance. As I said, we make decent wages, so Medicaid is not an option for my children. So my only option is to pay the almost $600 a month for insurance? How is this helping anyone? Basically one of us would need a second job just to pay for that. Well, actually there is one more that I was told tons of people are doing. Get a divorce but still live together. Then I would get child support, and with my wages alone the boys could get on Medicaid, maybe even myself. If I couldnt I could always get subsidized insurance, so YOU would pay for it! That seems genius right! So because my husband and I choose to work, ad half ass have our shit together, the coverage...crap. Ill pay the $95 penalty for myself this year and Mr. president...get bent asshole.
