I think that romance is -definitely- a vital aspect to almost any multi-dimensional story...but it should never be the -sole- focus, plot, or motivation of the characters. Because its predictable. Nah, even if its not predictable. Even if its not predictable, its still just a movie about two multi-celled organisms in their complex mating dance, unable to separate their hormones from rational thought, usually unaware that theyre even -in- a mating dance, or obeying the laws of manipulable algorithms of attraction. Haha! I like the way you put that...so technical. Its true. I definitely believe that love is a natural phenomenon but true love isnt what the media depicts it as. A good story, to me, should always more than one dimension...especially when it comes to procreation.
