You wanted a stir fry so were giving you one! Try this delicious spicy Korean style pork stir fry. It only takes half an hour and serves four. You will need a flat bottomed wok to utilize the full heat of the boiling plate! The boiling plate on an AGA is hot enough to heat the wok until the oil smokes, which is when you can start stir-frying. Quick, simple and delicious. Read on for the recipe... •2 tbsp sesame oil •500g deboned pork belly, skin on and sliced into 5mm-thick slices •sea salt and freshly ground white pepper •100g kimchi*, cut into 4cm pieces •4 Spring onions, cut into batons •2 garlic cloves, chopped finely •1/2 tsp chilli powder •1/2 tsp Asian sesame sauce* •1/2 tsp roasted sesame seeds •1/4 cup coriander leaves •Thin noodles, we used pumpkin noodles, but any kind would be fine On the boiling plate, boil water for noodles, cook as per directions, strain and run through cold water and put aside. Toast the sesame seeds in the wok on the boiling plate for 1-2 minutes or until colour begins to change, remove from wok and set aside Heat the oil in a wok on the boiling plate until just smoking. Add the pork, season with salt and pepper. Cook pork on boiling plate until browned, being careful not to overcook it. Add the kimchi, onions, garlic, chilli powder, sesame sauce and 1 tbsp water and cook briefly to incorporate. Add noodles till heated through. Divide the pork among serving bowls and sprinkle with sesame seeds and coriander. *Kimchi and Asian sesame sauce can be found in Asian grocers or the Asian food section of your supermarket. If you cant find Asian sesame sauce Tahini can be substituted.
