Young Leaders Exchange Programme The British Council and NCVO are pleased to accept applications for 2013 Young Leaders Exchange programme. The goal of this program is to strengthen the capability of emerging leaders in these regions and build new, mutually beneficial relationships with them. During the two weeks, young leaders will participate to discussions, workshops, field visits and networking activities. Thematic areas- Civil Society Arts Culture Politics (governmental reform) Education Business and Media Requirements- CV Competency and Experience Video Presentation Eligibility & Criteria- Exceptional young leaders in the UK and North Africa, aged 18-35 who are currently engaged within civil society may apply. This can be through various activities; youth wings of political parties, NGOs, Universities, business organisations, media, think tanks, or applicant’s own blog. As long as applicants show a strong passion for civil society activism and have demonstrated leadership abilities, they are welcome to apply – an interest international development and cooperation would also be advantage.
