Young women, one day the face paint, artificial hair and nails, and all of the features that you think that men value you for will disappear. Real beauty isnt in what will inevitably perish, true pulchritude is in the eternal. The superficial attention that you crave from men via FB/Instagram by means of scantily clad pictures will do nothing for you. The emptiness and feelings of vacuity that you may have will not be satisfied by their Likes or their inbox messages. I know that a lot of you do these things because you desire a hero, a knight in shining armor to rescue you and sweep you from your feet. Many of you consider the impossibility of such a notion, and you try to be your own hero by building a brick wall that cant be penetrated. The truth is that a real hero exists. All of the movies, and books, and love stories fell short of the reality- although they unknowingly allude to it, that Jesus Christ is the real Savior. He knows everything about you, He can tell you in astonishing detail every one of your thoughts and dreams, even your subconscious ones! He wants to call you His own, and He assures that He will never abandon you when He does. All of the things that you can name: consistency, love, honesty, dedication- are at their apex in Him. Eternity itself is in Him- thats where beauty is. Seek Him.
