The individual liberties and freedoms awarded in the United States of America are unheard of in most countries around the world. Freedom in the US transcends political parties. Freedom is not just a word here...it is a way of being. Are you free? Do you know what freedom feels like, means? Would you disappear or be arrested for speaking your mind, even if it means speaking against your government? Can your children, both male and female safely go to school? Can you work in your chosen field, not one chosen for you, without retribution? Can you be a teacher, read, write or watch what you like? Can you aspire to be better, smarter, wiser without be penalized? Do you know what real freedom is? It is peace of mind to personally grow and expand, to lead, to forge a new path, to challenge the standard, to bring peace, to heal...it is the USA. Can you say that your are free? Personal freedom is the simple act of being able to get different points of view that may expand the way you think about the world around you. Freedom of mind is the willingness to be able to get different points of view and to agree or not agree with any. And for any that fear I am not a Reganite or war-monger; I am a man of peace.
