Your Crime Rock Weekend fun fact: You may recall that years ago we mentioned Go-Gos vocalist Belinda Carlisles ties to the late-70s punk scene when she briefly played drums in the Germs, but she wasnt the only female pop star to start as a punk drummer. Before she dropped her last name and rose to superstardom, Madonna Ciccone was a founding member of late-70s New York punk band the Breakfast Club. Though she played drums in the band, Madonna also performed lead vocals on a handful of songs, none of which have ever been officially released.
