Yesterday we went to Kullaberg for the first hiking trip organised by Wermlands Nation hiking club and Hållbart universitet outdoor activites team. And it was a very nice journey with a lot of fun and memorable moments! We are going to organize more trips and present the beauty of Sweden to students from Lund in a way you can learn more about nature and ways for sustainable interactions with the environment. If you are are interested in organizing future events, we would be super happy if you join us! Just send a short email to [email protected]. Thank you! Kullaberg is a nature reserve situated on a peninsula of land protruding into the Kattegat in Höganäs Municipality near the town of Mölle in southwest Sweden. The site in the province of Skåne is an area of considerable biodiversity supporting a number of rare species and has been designated as an Important Bird Area (IBA) in Sweden as well as a Special Protection Area (SPA). The terrain is dominated by steep cliffs rising from the sea and rocky outcrops on the ridge above.
