Your Daily Iconic Moments. WHO IS THE REAL YOU? It is very wrong and rather premature to judge a product by its container. I believe every product should be judged based on the contents in the container. Thats why judging any man based on his physical attributes is wrong and at the same time, you judging yourself based on your physical attributes and endowments is also very wrong. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. Psalm 139:14 Remember that man is a threefold being; he is first of all a spirit, who has a soul and lives in a body. Your spirit is that part of you that has all the attributes of God Almighty. Your spirit is that part of you that is 100% made in Gods likeness and image. Your soul which is also called the mind is the seat of your intellect, will and emotions. Your body is the physical you ie that part of you that every one can see, hear and touch. As it were, your body is not the real you. Your body is at best a container for the real you which people can see. Stop defining your identity based on what people can see about you or what you can see about your self; thats not the real you. The real you is the man on the inside. I have seen ladies who feel inferior because some parts of their bodies are either too small or too big. I have also seen men who feel inferior because they feel some parts of their bodies are too small. Hear this, God made you and the body He gave you is the right body that can fulfill your purpose. Thats why you cannot use a serving spoon to eat. Both are spoons but they have their different purposes. You are an Icon. Action Plan: Do you feel inferior or inadequate based on your physical looks? Stop thinking that way; thats not the real you. Prayer: Thank You Lord because I am made in Your image.
