Your Heart Determine everything that happens to you daily! Philippians 4:6 -8 There are things we fight seriously in our heart daily: Anxiety – Low sense of self-esteem – A self-defeating mentality –FEAR – Fear is an act of panicking. Fear is also “False Evidence Appearing Real What did you give your heart to? What you allowed in your heart takes control of you Example: “Elijah a powerful man of God allowed Jezebel to have key to his heart through the treat of the word of her mouth, and it cut – short of his ministry”. There are 3 powerful forces that must flow continually out of heart – 1 Corinthians 13:13 {Tells someone, “You need does 13:13} If you want to live a stable, healthy & peaceful life, you need the following: The 3 essential forces are: Hope Faith Love 1. Hope What is hope? a. Hope is future expectation Hope must be consciously awaken – Ps. 42:5 Without hope word like that of Jezebel can move you to dispel b. Hope guarantee’s our portion in God – Lam. 3:24-26 When you have hope, you declare your position in the Lord & confident in your God. c. Hope makes a strive with perseverance – Rom. 8:24-25 Hope makes you smile that there’s breakthrough ahead of you. Like Deer’s {an Animal that run in desert – God gave them power to smile water afar off} d. Hope gives you God strength – Ps. 31:24 When you are full of hope in your, then it gives you strength that boost your energy 2. Faith a. Faith is a conviction of what you believe God can do for you – Job 19:25 In the midst of Job suffering & despair, Job clung with great faith to God, believing the Lord would vindicate him in the end Job viewed God as his redeemer or helper in the times of trouble {Lev. 25:25; Deut. 25:5-10; Gen.48:16; Ex. 6:6 & Isaiah 43:1} b. Persevering Faith in God – Gen.48:15 Jacob left his children with example of persevering faith in God & a testimony that God had shepherded him & his entire life, delivering him from all harm. This greatest thing a father can pass on to his children is faith in & commitment to God. There is no legacy greater than this. 3. Love What God asks of all those who believe in Christ and receive His salvation are devoted Love – Matt. 22:37-39; Deut. 6:5; Rom. 13:9-10; 1Cor. 13 a. Love requires an attitude of heart where God is so valued & esteemed. b. Our love for God must be wholehearted & dominating love, a love inspired by His love for us God bless you as you read this message.
