Your Rail=Trail opener made me think about the possibility of looking into the future. I think turning the corridor into a tourist attraction is great but maybe tying in a light rail system from downtown Kelowna to the Winfield industrial center on Beaver Lake rd with stops along the way tied in with the bus loops already in existence and so feeding the hotels, shopping centers, schools, the airport and UBCO etc etc should be given a hard look. I know that sounds futuristic but doing it now rather than saying 15 years from now I wish we had. It should be also a way to generate funding through the transit system. I would love to sit down with you to expand on this idea, Thanks, Tobias Smit
