Your Rams varsity volleyball team hosted Delton and Climax-Scotts in a Tri Meet last night. The Lady Rams beat Delton in the first set, but dropped two close sets to loose a hard fought match. In the second contest the Ram attack proved to be too much for Climax as our girls defeated Climax in three sets. Your team was led by a balanced attack led by Kathryn Dooley, with 19 kills, Rileigh Florshinger added 17 kills and Madelyne Standley chipped in with 10 kills. Kealey O’Day set the table for this potent attack with 38 assits on the night. The defense was anchored by great play from Natalie Hosmer, who finished the night with 23 digs and Savanna Waite contributed 21 digs. Rileigh Florshinger also added 6 blocks and 5 aces to her well rounded performance. Next up, the Rams travel to Schoolcraft Wednesday night to exchange blows with the #2 team in the state.
