Your Transition Palm Beaches co-chairs (for want of a better description) Dean Sherwin and I, have been cooking up some interesting presentations for forthcoming Transition Monthly Meetings, so save the dates and plan on attending and bring like-minded friends. First Sundays of the month, at Friends Quaker Meeting in Lake Worth, 6-8 pm EST, potluck and recycle table (for your seeds, shoots, cuttings, and household items you no longer need). November 2, Nathan Venzara gives a Tiny House talk based on his personal commitment to building one for his family. It’s FALL BACK Sunday. December 7, DIY Holiday Gifts, so you don’t have to waste a moment at the mall. We’ll be meeting at Juicy Creatives, home studio of Lake Worth artist, Elise Crohn. What would inspire you to take an active role in 1. Modeling a Transition Town in Lake Worth, and/or 2. Establishing Transition Palm Beaches as a hub for further education about the joys, skills, connections and fulfillment of a post-petroleum world? We’re all ears! Marika Stone and Dean Sherwin
