Your child is learning letter sounds in class. It is important they practice these sounds at home in addition to in class. And on his farm he had an A, EIEIO. With an (sound a makes) /a/ /a/ here and an /a/ /a/ there, here an /a/ /a/ there an /a/ everywhere an /a/ /a/, old McDonald had farm EIEIO. And so on through the entire alphabet. 3. https://youtube/watch?v=WtbL3byFa18 4. Using cards with one letter on them place them around the room and make a “scavenger hunt”. Tell them find the letter that makes the /a/ sound. Once they find it ask them what is the letter, what sound does the letter make?
