Your favorite DEODORANT could be full of Dangerous Chemicals.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Think about it, you spray it all over you skin and then your body and blood Absorb it... which, in turn, can cause Cancer, Brain Damage, and even Liver abnormalities. ......................................................................... Here are a few options of Healthy Alternatives: 1) Ingredients.. - 1/4 Cup of Baking Soda (neutralizes odor) - 1/4 Cup of Arrowroot starch (absorbs moisture) - 4 Table spoons Coconut Oil (anti-bacterialand moisturizing.. you could melt it) - 1/4 tsp Tea Tree Oil (anti-bacterial) Mix all ingredients together to form a paste/cream... and thats it! If you do not have Arrowroot then either add More baking soda or replace it with Cornstarch. 2) I personally use Sea Butter option. It is a Great Moisturizer of the body (very natural and contain only One ingredient) and about a year ago I tried to moils my under arms and realized that this type of butter also could be used as a natural deodorant (though last about 5 hours or so). Great! 3) Lemon juice - just rub the lemon in your underarm. Remember that reactions are to different types of sensitive skin. For example, Hiperpigmentation regarding those people who exposes to the sun after just applying it, and or irritation to people who have very sensitive skin. Different types of fruits has different types of acids in which can be applied to different types of skin. .......................................................................... WHY SHOULD YOU MAKE YOUR OWN OR NOT USE ANY?.. 3 of the Worst deodorant ingredients are: PARABENS: (On the label* methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben or isobutylparaben) These are used in many skin care and cosmetic products. They act as a preservative to discourage bacteria and fungus. Research shows that parabens from lotions and deodorants can absorb into the body and weakly mimic estrogen causing damage to the endocrine system. ALUMINUM: One of the main ingredients in many deodorants and antiperspirantsis aluminum, which actually blocks the body from producing sweat. Aluminum has been known to cause neurological damage and contribute to diseases like Alzheimers and Parkinsons. Aluminum has been found to be able to enter and remain in a human bloodstream for up to two weeks after just one application of deodorant or antiperspirant. PROPELENE GLYCOL: is often used in deodorants and is also an ingredient in antifreeze. Factory workers who are exposed are warned of the danger of kidney, brain, and liver damage through skin contact.
