Your deepest presence is in every small contracting and expanding, the two as beautifully balanced and coordinated as birds wings. - Rumi Most of us are used to thinking linearly, as in we are either moving forward or backward, up or down. However, as long as we aspire to evolve and heal, we will. What looks like One step forward, two steps back is really just the evolution process. Much like giving birth, you have moments of contraction, and moments of rest and peace. The funny thing is, the contractions are where things happen! From the thick of it, it may be scary and kind of crazy, but from a larger perspective, you are giving birth to yourself, the true You. The beauty is when you can enjoy the contractions, or at least dance with them. A study into ecstatic birth can be helpful for everyday life (not to mention breaking many of our preconceived notions!). When you stop fighting and learn to move with the rhythm of your healing, and to celebrate its purpose, you can honour yourself in the deepest way. You can see the tremendous beauty in all of it.
