Your help is needed more than ever! A flash flood created havoc on sections of our neighborhood this week. Andrew St, an alley that parallels Allen St to the south, became a raging river Thursday evening for about 40 minutes. Coincidentally, Thursday was garbage night. Every cross street from 18th to 22nd was littered with debris. Please join us this Saturday, September 7th to get things back to normal. Many of the new planting beds on 19th St need to be repaired and mulched. We will tackle that as well. Plenty of supplies and beverages will be available at the corner of 19th & Allen. We will be happy to sign paperwork for Boy/Girl Scout members who wish to participate. Thank you for making the neighborhood shine! See you on the 7th at 10:00 am.
